MCIS Insurance Berhad was a composite insurer providing life and non-life products. It has been in existence for more than 40 years operating under the name of The Malaysian Cooperative Insurance Society. In June 1998, the Cooperative transferred it's insurance business to MCIS Insurance Berhad, a company incorporated under the Companies Act with 32 branches, 5,000 agents, 350,000 policy holders and a total of 450 staff.
